Our room was very small for 3 beds but we understand that Japan is small. We enjoyed out stay very much. Everyone was very kind. Thank you!
Within close proximity to Kyoto Station, bus terminal & shopping/dining area
For extensive high price paid, was disappointed that the hotel room given for triple sharing for all 9 nites were all very very small & cramped. Hardly any room to move around for 3 pax, not to mentioned any space for handling of luggage Bed cover/comforter very old & shabby. Extra bed too soft! Bath/shower area very small & cramped & sink counter too low!
Proximity to Kyoto station makes travelling to other ares a breeze. Near 24hr Lownson and super mart across the road allow one to buy essential if needed. Cleanliness is 1st class. Beddings change daily. Room keeps spotless clean.
Bathroom too small and not for anyone above 6ft to use. Bathing in su ch enclosed space is a challenge. Staff has difficulty in understanding foreign language ,however they are on the whole veery helpful.
The location is very good, just 1 block away from Kyoto station where you can catch bus to go wherever you want. There's a big supermarket across the street which is open until 8:00p.m.
The bathroom was exactly as big as a cabin on a plane.
The location is 5 minutes from the kyoto station, it's comfort to walk from the station with big luggage. The bed is comfort but the bathroom is so tiny. The staff could speak english and assist us to call the jr company since my brother left his bag in shinkasen. We got the bag back, thx to the staff fir helping us. There is some cafes, resto and mini market around.
I think they turn off the air con after 9am, so it' a little but uncomfort
The location is very good, easy to go anywhere around Kyoto and the room is not noisy at all near railway station.
They should have one big English name ad.of the hotel from the side of railway station because most of the tourists can not read Japanese.
very nice staff! nice view to Kyoto tower in the room!
Everything was just great. From the staff to the facilities provided - I would definitely stay here again!
The hotel is well located, it is 200 metrso the railway station. The rooms are a good size
The rooms do not have an individual temperature control of heating My parents were in a room next to mine, but their room was overheated. The hotel staff said that my parents would have to sleep with the window open to relieve the heat in the winter.
Location is perfect, just next to the Kyoto Main Station
Close to trains, near good food shops when budget tight, then handy to restaurants as well.
Small rooms, but comfortable
The location is unbeatable! Impossibly close to all transportation lines - buses, railway, shinkansen - which made me choose this hotel as a hub for visiting all towns, villages and neighbourhoods within 200 km from Kyoto. And of course the hotel is very convenient for sightseeing in Kyoto itself. An it is the best hotel with regard to the value for money - it's clean and the rooms are huge if you compare with any other hotel in Japan.
They have a problem with mixer units in bathrooms - so the half of the water stream is cold and another half is boiling hot. However, the staff was quick to apologize (and even give me a set of postcards at a check out - a very sweet gesture) and to offer another room and a discount. It was the same problem in another room (so it seems it is the problem of a water system in the hotel, and not in particular rooms), but a discount definitely helped to improve the overall experience.
proximity to kyoto station
too cramp, toilet smelly and claustrophobic, water boiling facility rather inadequate for a group of 3.
I liked the location. With a supermarket in front and Lawson's at the side, McDonald's round the corner and the Kyoto Station a stone's throw away.
Toilet/bath a little cramped.Smoke- filled lobby and dining area after 10.00am.
Very close to Kyoto Main train station and very good value made even cheaper with McDonalds breakfast nearby. Also took advantage of free trip up to top of Kyoto Tower and had one course in restaurant near top which was expensive( think we should have realized there was a 10% for Annex Residents)
